Residency organised by Luuk Schröder at an e-waste recycling center / 24 – 28 Mar 2025 / Apeldoorn
Driven by a fascination for their cryptic landscapes, I gathered printed circuit boards, each etched with a purpose I could not decipher. Removed from their functions, they became fields of texture, color, and unintentional design.
From them, two forms emerged. The first, retained for further study, since it feels unresolved and I still question its physical form.
The second piece was left as a gift for the workers of the center. To them, it was something else entirely: perhaps a speaker, a lamp, or an object yet unnamed. In their hands, it shed its history of utility and became a vessel for possibility. A shared, open-ended artifact.
