Under Pressure
2021
Bottle collection, paper, glue, paint, fabric, leaves, napkins
A series of nine bottles, each transformed by hand into a vessel of emotion and time. They exist within an environment of harmony and rupture.
This work grew from three months of compressed feeling of pressure, met with a collection of gathered fragments. Each bottle contains a distinct stage, a sealed chapter of personal narratives.
Their making became a release. I used only my hands: tearing paper, spreading glue with fingers, not tools. This direct contact was essential as a tangible, sensory dialogue between pressure and relief.
